We inspire a love of live music, through performance, participation and learning across Birmingham and beyond. We believe that music is essential to everyone and has the power to transform and change lives, to entertain and uplift, to create shared experiences and to educate.
We bring together the diverse communities of Birmingham, the West Midlands and beyond; to develop talent and share skills, to combat isolation and loneliness and to work collaboratively to ensure the best results for our communities. We work in partnership with local Music Education Hubs to support teaching and learning in
music with schools, and work with local colleges and universities.
Services For Education uses the power of learning and of music to create and build confidence amongst children, young people, adults and communities across the city of Birmingham. Our mission is to bring music and learning to life.
We believe that every young person should be able to grow up to be the very best that they can be, regardless of their background. To this end the charity was formed in 2012 to provide more opportunities for children of all ages and abilities in Birmingham to reach their full potential.
The Karlsson Játiva Charitable Foundation was set up in 2016 and is a registered charity in England and Wales. It is a philanthropic institution which was established with two main objectives in mind: a) The advancement of the art of music and the education of the public in the same in the United Kingdom, Sweden and other countries across Europe: and b) The relief of poverty, distress and hardship and the promotion of education, health and welfare or any other exclusively charitable object in Latin America. Its philosophy is to fund partners who have the potential to deliver structural change over the long term improving the opportunities for those who otherwise might not be able to fulfil their potential. With respect to its music objective, it provides funding directly to various organisations in the United Kingdom under the Signatur umbrella. It is also the founder of and provides funding to Signatur Foundation Sweden, which operates a similar programme in Sweden.
We are the major provider of music activity to children and young people across Coventry and deliver this in partnership with schools, partners and regional arts organisations. Coventry Music strives to support schools, raise standards and to provide an inclusive, diverse, rich and balanced programme along with opportunities for training and development.
We ensure high-quality teaching and learning across a wide variety of diverse styles and genres working with professional artists from many cultural backgrounds and provide a number of high profile performance opportunities which showcase talent, progression and achievement.
